Fox Sports is planning to launch a live-streaming-focused app this summer, with plans to launch in 2017.
The Fox Sports app, codenamed XINZHE, will be available for iOS, Android, and Windows, according to a tweet from the company today.
It’s currently unclear how many of the company’s games will be playable at the live event, but the official description reads: “You can be the Fox Sports Channel’s most influential broadcaster, with the best live sports content available on TV.”
A few days ago, the company teased its planned live-broadcast for November 11th, with an image of the Fox sports logo on the screen.
The app is expected to debut in 2018.
